The Str*pper Co-op is a diverse, worker-led collective committed to disrupting the historically exploitative stripping industry by empowering str*pper-workers with collective control over working conditions and profits. We center camaraderie over competition, practicing the “sharing the bag” ethos to ensure equity, support, and solidarity among our members. Through our unique pop-up strip shows, we create spaces that celebrate diversity, agency, and self-representation, offering empowering and creative adult entertainment that challenges industry norms.

Our mission is to build a more just and inclusive future for adult performers—where marginalized voices are uplifted, labor is respected, and the community thrives. By prioritizing collaboration, equity, and artistic freedom, we aim to reshape the landscape of adult entertainment and create safer, more supportive spaces for both performers and audiences.

Coco Ono aka Kayla Tange, is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist and has stripped in clubs across Los Angeles and beyond for nearly two decades, and her work is shaped by that intimacy, spectacle and transaction. Tange co-founded Cyber Clown Girls and Sacred Wounds in 2020, Stripper Co-op in 2021 and co-created Private Practices AAPI Sex Worker and Performance Art Collection at the Los Angeles Contemporary Archive. www.kaylatange.com

Riv is a queer visual and performance artist who uses chaos and humor to both disarm and seduce her audience. She produces, performs in, and edits her own comedy show, Stupid Hawt Cooking, a blend of improv, satire, bad cooking, and feminine rage. The show also weaves in messages on social issues such as sustainability, ableism, and consent. In 2021, Riv co-founded Stripper Co-op, and in 2022, she went on strike and successfully unionized Star Garden. In previous roles, she has produced art shows and managed music programs at three Boys & Girls Clubs in Southern California.

Velveeta came to Los Angeles from the midwest in 2017. She started her stripping career at Star Garden that same year. In 2022 she led her coworkers in a walk-out protesting unsafe working conditions. They picketed for 8 months and officially became union strippers in 2023. She is a co-founder of Stripper Co-op. Now she’s busy with a live show and podcast entitled “Stilettobox,” strippers soapboxing for sex worker rights. Catch the show on TikTok @freevelveeta 6pm PT on Wednesdays.

Antonia Crane is a writer, queer sex worker, filmmaker, and PhD candidate at USC. She is the author of Spent and Pandemic Peep Show, and a longtime advocate for sex worker rights. A founding member of the first stripper union at The Lusty Lady in the ’90s, she received Antioch University’s Outstanding Community Service & Activism Award. Her writing appears in The New York Times, The Nation, N+1, and Whorephobia, edited by Lizzie Borden. Her debut short film Lady Los Angeles won Best LGBT Film at the 2024 Palermo International Film Festival. She lives in Los Angeles.

Inten$ity Bankroll (she/her) is a force of nature—artist, filmmaker, and sex worker—blending movement, performance, and storytelling into an irresistible spectacle. Drenched in seduction, dripping in power, and laced with pure magnetism, she doesn’t just turn heads—she shifts the atmosphere. A walking fantasy, a living masterpiece, a dream wrapped in danger. Whether on stage or behind the camera, she’s here to spark desire, challenge narratives, and unapologetically advocate for sex worker autonomy—because every story she tells is a revolution in motion.

Selen is a writer, activist, and (come August 2025) an associate therapist. Selena writes a biweekly blog about their adventures in sex work. They presided as president of Strippers United from 2020-2024. Currently, they are wrapping up their master’s degree with the dream of becoming a trauma therapist that serves the sex worker community.

ViVi S Fierce is a larger-than-life performer who commands every stage she graces. A true Hollywood starlet with Southern roots, she brings the glamour of Anna Nicole Smith with a confidence that’s all her own. Known as the Jumbo Bimbo, she embodies sex, beauty, and pure, unfiltered fierceness.

Lilith Lilith is a stripper, labor organizer, and writer. She helped lead the historic union campaign at Star Garden Topless Bar, eventually heading public relations for Equity Strippers NoHo and coordinating national media coverage. After working as a Hollywood assistant, she joined the WGA in 2022 with a legal procedural episode centered on a strip club drugging case. She is currently developing THE GARDEN, a feature inspired by her experience on the Star Garden picket line. She loves niche history, folk music, cultural dance, and writing songs on banjo and accordion, and is excited to help build the Stripper Co-op.

Marianina is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Colima, México who uses music as a vehicle for protest and social justice, empowering immigrants, women, and queer people of color. She has performed across Mexico, Europe, and the US, fusing Latin rhythms, pop, and hip hop into fiercely political anthems. She moved to California in 2019 and independently released her debut album Corazón de Perra (2021), six singles including “From Palestine to Mexico,” and the EP Suavecita y Peligrosa (2024), with her third album due in 2027 under Cosmica Records. She has also composed original music for award-winning films.

Rubie Hellia is a southern born queer performer who has been raising hell in LA for the last 5 years. This actual succubus has done everything from burlesque to hardcore pornography. Her interests include but are not limited to: weightlifting, kissing in public, pinball, and BDSM. When she’s not filming content or writhing around in the laps of strangers you can find her drinking tequila and offering “uppies” to anyone she thinks she can lift and carry – often grown men. Her ultimate goal is to dismantle the patriarchy and put on a hell of a show in the process.
